Well really, it's about thanks. Thanksgiving, that is. It's about time I got finished with this post about our Thanksgiving. I mean, good grief, it's almost Christmas!
We spent Thanksgiving at my in-laws, as we do most every year. It's been fun building traditions with our growing family and watching the boys get excited about helping out.
The baking started the day before; Cam helped our friend Hil with an apple pie. Yum.
On Thanksgiving Day, preparations began early. The table was set and place cards arranged (and re-set and rearranged, as made necessary by three little boys running around all morning...)
Kayden helped Grammy and Ogee make the mashed potatoes.
He even helped do the dishes. (What a great kid!!)
Cam did a little cooking of his own in his kitchen while his brother was busy with the potatoes.
Phew! Making Thanksgiving dinner is a lot of work!
Callan hung out with his Grammy Jack and supervised (from his assigned seat).
It was a gorgeous day to gaze out windows and enjoy company.
After dinner, there was the obligatory vegging out in front of football.
And of course, there was picture taking.
So blessed.
So much to be thankful for.
