Comment Investigation

Quite a few of you have been messaging me on Facebook or sending me e-mails about having trouble commenting on my blog. So, I've decided to conduct a little investigation into why a few of you are able to comment and so many of you are having trouble. It's mostly a selfish investigation, because I love hearing from you and want you to be able to comment! :)

If you know how to comment, please do so (just say hi or whatever) at the bottom of this post. After you post, your comment should come up right away (you may need to refresh the page). Please let me know (via Facebook or e-mail) if you have trouble. Thanks! :)

If you don't know how to comment, here's the deal:

Scroll to the bottom of this post (not the bottom of the page) and you'll see "Posted by heather @ 10:23AM" and next to that will be a link that says "____ comments". Click on that link and the entire page should change to a full comments page with a textbox on the right.

Type in your comment; now's your chance to try this out if you never have. Then, you'll need to select an option in the "Choose An Identity" menu right below the comment text box. If you have a Google account and are signed in, you can choose that. If you don't have a Google account, you can choose "Name/URL" (the easiest if you don't have a Google account, in my opinion) or "Anonymous" (make sure you say who your comment is from in the text box if you want me to know it's from you!)

When you are all done, just click the orange "Publish Your Comment" button! (You can click "Preview," but this will only show you what your comment will look like; it won't post until you click "Publish Your Comment").

All done! After you post, your comment should come up right away (you may need to refresh the page or click back to the blog). Please let me know (via Facebook or e-mail) if you have trouble.
